ASI Hand Dryers (American Specialties)

ASI (American Specialties) hand dryers cover surface-mounted, semi-recessed, and fully recessed installations across the TURBO, Turbo-Pro, Turbo-Swift, TURBO-Tuff, Roval, Profile, SAFE-Dri, and TRI-UMPH lines. Start by confirming the voltage available at the wall, then choose mounting depth, filtration, and finish. Model suffixes identify voltage (such as -1 or -2) and finish (such as -00 white, -41 matte black, -93 satin stainless).

Start with Voltage

Voltage is the first thing to confirm, because each model is built for a specific supply. ASI model numbers typically use -1 for 110-120V (115-120V on some lines) and -2 for 208-240V or 220-240V. Exceptions include the ASI 0184 (277V) and the ASI 0185 Profile Steel Cover models (100-240V). Have your electrician confirm the circuit and connection requirements at each location before ordering; check the product spec sheet for wiring details.

Projection matters along circulation paths and in accessible restrooms. Several ASI model names include ADA, but the final result depends on mounting height and location, so check each dryer against your accessibility drawings.

  • TURBO ADA (0199): surface-mounted high-speed dryer in white, satin stainless, and matte black at both voltages.
  • Turbo-Pro (0196): high-speed ADA-named model with a HEPA filter, offered in white, black, and satin stainless.
  • Turbo-Swift (0192): high-speed ADA-named model in satin stainless and matte black.
  • TURBO-Tuff (0135): fully recessed stainless steel dryer for spaces where a flush look and low projection are priorities.
