ASI Restroom Combination Units

ASI combination units pack two or more restroom functions into one cabinet. Options include paper towel dispensers with waste receptacles, 3-in-1 towel/dryer/waste units, toilet tissue and seat cover dispensers with napkin disposal, and Velare BTM mirror-cabinet systems. Combining functions declutters walls and reduces separate wall penetrations. The right unit depends on the wall depth available, waste capacity, power and the line you want to match.

What can be combined?

  • Paper towel and waste: Traditional, Roval, Simplicity and Piatto units offer manual, battery and AC automatic roll-towel options. For a deeper comparison, see ASI paper towel with waste receptacles.
  • 3-in-1 towel, dryer and waste: Simplicity 64672-1/-2 and Piatto 64672-1/-2 add a high-speed hand dryer, so plan for an electrical circuit. The 64672 and 64672-41PC are cabinets only, with no dryer included.
  • Toilet compartment units: 0481-0487 series combine toilet tissue, seat covers and, on some models, napkin disposal. Partition-mounted dual-access versions serve two stalls from one partition opening, and -HC versions are made for accessible compartments.
  • Velare BTM system: 0661 (liquid soap) and 0663 (foam soap) pair a stainless cabinet with a frameless mirror and either a high-speed dryer (-1/-2) or a paper towel dispenser (-T).
  • All-purpose cabinet: 0430 (recessed) and 0430-9 (surface) combine shelves, mirror, towel and liquid soap dispenser.

Recessed, semi-recessed or surface mounted?

Many models come in three versions. Suffixes such as -2, -4 or -6 indicate semi-recessed, and -9 indicates surface mounted. Recessed units need a stud cavity deep enough for the cabinet but keep projection to a minimum. Semi-recessed units split the difference where wall depth is limited. Surface-mounted units suit retrofits on finished walls. Piatto models are described as completely recessed.

Capacity and power

Waste capacity ranges from about 2 gallons in compact units to 18 gallons in Traditional high-volume models. Match capacity to traffic and how often the unit is serviced. Battery-operated automatic models avoid wiring. AC models (110-240V) need a circuit but no battery changes.

Accessibility planning

For accessible compartments, compare the -HC dual-access and 0487-R/-L configurations, then confirm dispenser location, heights, and reach against the spec sheet and your project's accessibility requirements. A model name alone does not make a stall compliant.
