ASI 04692A-6 Semi-Recessed Automatic Roll Towel Dispenser and Waste Receptacle
This proximity-sensing, no-touch dispenser feeds a preset towel length per cycle from 8" or 9" wide standard rolls up to 800 ft. long. It has stub-roll capability, a 17 gal. (64 L) waste receptacle, and a semi-recessed stainless steel collar. Power is supplied by four D-size batteries, which are not included.
The owner sets towel length, delay, and economy using three three-position switches. Towels dispense automatically when hands are placed in the sensor zone. A full roll can be loaded while a partial roll is in use. The LED indicates sensing and battery condition. Refill by unlocking the door and replacing the roll; the towel supply and batteries are replenished manually according to maintenance needs. The waste container is emptied manually. The compartment locks, and a retainer helps prevent unauthorized removal of the receptacle.
Installation and construction
Provide a rough wall opening at least 16-3/8 in. W x 55 in. H x 4-1/4 in. D. Install in the wall recess with #10 self-threading screws through the concealed mounting holes; screws are by others. The supplied semi-recessed collar is installed with the unit. For compliance with the 2010 ADA Accessibility Standards, the manufacturer advises positioning the bottom edge of the dispenser door no more than 48 in. above the finished floor.
The cabinet, frame, and waste container are 22-gauge Type 304 stainless steel with a satin finish. Overall dimensions are 17-1/4 in. W x 56 in. H x 10-1/4 in. D.
