ASI 04692A-9 Automatic Roll Towel Dispenser and Waste Receptacle
This proximity-sensing, battery-operated unit dispenses a preset towel length per cycle from standard 8- or 9-inch-wide rolls up to 800 feet long. Stub-roll capability allows a full roll to feed after the partial roll is used. The removable waste receptacle holds 17 gallons (64 L). Four D-size batteries are required and are not included.
The surface-mounted unit measures 17-1/4 inches wide by 56 inches high by 10-1/4 inches deep and includes a 9-inch collar. Cabinet, frame, and waste container are 22-gauge Type 304 stainless steel with a satin finish.
Installation and operation
Secure the unit to the wall through its concealed mounting holes using #10 self-threading screws; screws are by others. For the manufacturer's guidance for 2010 ADA Accessibility Standards, position the bottom edge of the towel-dispenser door no higher than 48 inches above finished floor. The preset dispensing length, delay, and economy are selected with three three-position switches. An LED indicates sensing and battery condition.
Refill and upkeep
Unlock the door to replace an empty or partially empty roll. The dispenser can use a full roll while the existing partial roll occupies the stub-roll position. Replenish towels, replace batteries, and empty the waste receptacle according to maintenance needs.
