ASI 646924A-9 Surface-Mounted Automatic Roll Paper Towel Dispenser and Waste Receptacle
The ASI 646924A-9 is a surface-mounted, battery-operated combination unit for washrooms where a recessed installation is not wanted or available. It uses a stainless steel -9 collar, dispenses one preset-length towel per cycle by proximity sensing, and includes a 12-gallon waste receptacle. It accepts 8- or 9-inch-wide rolls up to 800 feet long and has stub-roll capability.

- Construction: Cabinet, frame, and waste container are 22-gauge Type 304 stainless steel with a satin finish.
- Capacity: Roll towels up to 800 ft. long; waste receptacle holds 12 gal. (45.4 L).
- Dimensions: 17-1/4 in. W x 56 in. H x 10-1/4 in. D.
- Power and settings: Four D-size batteries (not included). Three internal switches set towel length, dispense delay, and economy.
- Mounting: Slide the -9 collar onto the cabinet back before mounting the unit to the wall with #10 self-threading screws through the concealed mounting holes; screws are by others. ASI specifies a maximum 48-in. height to the towel opening for accessibility only when clear-floor reach access is provided. For general utility, ASI specifies 49 to 56 in. AFF.
Refilling and upkeep
Unlock the door to replace a roll. When a full roll is loaded and the partial roll is transferred to the stub-roll position, the unit can continue dispensing from the partial roll before feeding the full roll. An LED indicates sensing and battery condition. Replenish towels, replace batteries, and empty the receptacle as maintenance needs require. The receptacle accepts a reusable vinyl liner bag (not supplied) or disposable PVC trash liners (by others).
