ASI 046921A-9 Automatic Roll Paper Towel Dispenser and Waste Receptacle
The ASI 046921A-9 is a surface-mounted, battery-operated automatic roll towel dispenser with a 12-gallon (45.4 L) waste receptacle and a 9-inch stainless-steel collar. It dispenses a preset towel length when hands enter the sensor zone and supports stub-roll feeding.
Specifications and operation
- Accepts standard 8- or 9-inch-wide towel rolls up to 800 feet (244 m) long.
- Waste capacity: 12 gallons (45.4 L). Overall dimensions: 17-1/4 inches W x 56 inches H x 11-3/4 inches D.
- Powered by four D-size batteries; batteries are not included. An LED indicates sensing and battery condition.
- Three three-position switches set towel length, delay, and economy. The unit dispenses one length at a time and can feed from a partial roll transferred to the stub-roll position when a full roll is loaded.
- The cabinet, frame, and waste container are 22-gauge Type 304 stainless steel; the door is 18-gauge Type 304 stainless steel. Exposed surfaces have a satin finish.
- A locking door and receptacle retainer help prevent unauthorized access and removal.
Installation and maintenance
Mount to the wall through the concealed mounting holes using #10 self-threading screws (by others). ASI's installation guidance referencing the 2010 ADA Accessibility Standards specifies that the bottom edge of the towel dispenser door be no more than 48 inches above the finished floor. Refill by unlocking the door; replace batteries and empty the waste container as maintenance needs require. ASI lists a one-year warranty from the invoice date.
