ASI 046921A Recessed Automatic Roll Towel Dispenser and Waste Receptacle
This battery-operated, proximity-sensing unit dispenses one preset-length towel per activation from 8-inch or 9-inch-wide rolls up to 800 ft. long. It has a 12-gallon waste receptacle. Four D-size batteries are required and are not included.
When a roll is depleted, a full roll can be loaded so dispensing resumes automatically after the existing partial roll is used. The locking door and waste container help prevent unauthorized access and removal; the receptacle is emptied manually as needed.
Installation and service
The recessed unit requires a rough wall opening at least 15-7/8 inches wide by 54-5/8 inches high by 10-1/4 inches deep. Secure it through the concealed mounting holes with #10 self-threading screws, which are by others. Manufacturer guidance for 2010 ADA Accessibility Standards calls for the bottom edge of the towel dispenser door to be no more than 48 inches above the finished floor; confirm installation conditions for the project.
The cabinet, frame, and waste container are Type 304 stainless steel with a satin finish. The dispenser door is also Type 304 stainless steel.
