ASI 0184 Surface-Mounted Sensor Hand Dryer
The ASI 0184 is a white, 277 VAC surface-mounted sensor hand dryer that activates when hands are placed under the sensor and dries in less than 25 seconds. Its cover is white porcelain enamel on stainless steel. Overall dimensions are 14-7/16 x 10-13/16 x 3-15/16 inches.

Installation and operation
A blue LED in the sensor array guides hand placement during operation. The dryer automatically shuts off after its timeout when the user removes hands from the sensor zone. Electrical service must be provided and connected by others before the cover is installed. Mount the unit with the four supplied 1/4-inch screws, washers, and bushings through the back-plate rubber grommets into suitable prepared mountings; suitable alternative mounting hardware is by others. For masonry walls, the manufacturer specifies expansion bolts or anchors for 1/4-inch screws. Install multiple dryers at least 24 inches apart on center.
For the manufacturer’s reach-dependent installation guidance, position the bottom of the sensor lens no higher than 48 inches above finished floor for clear forward or side reach, 46 inches for side reach over an obstruction with a reach depth greater than 10 and less than 25 inches, or 44 inches for forward reach over an obstruction with a reach depth greater than 20 and less than 25 inches. For general utility, the manufacturer gives a sensor-lens height range of 44 to 50 inches above finished floor. The manufacturer lists a ten-year warranty from the invoice date.
