ASI Paper Towel Dispensers

ASI (American Specialties) paper towel dispensers cover folded towel (C-fold, multi-fold, and single-fold), manual roll, and automatic roll towel, in surface-mounted, semi-recessed, recessed, and countertop styles. Choose towel format first because it sets supply costs and refill frequency, then pick mounting depth, power for automatic models, and collection: Traditional, Simplicity, Roval, Piatto, or Velare.

Decision 1: Towel Format

  • Folded towel: C-fold and multi-fold dispensers (such as the ASI 0210 and the petite 0215) are simple to load and have no mechanism to maintain. Some Simplicity recessed models accept both multi-fold and C-fold towels.
  • Manual roll towel: lever-operated roll dispensers deliver a roll format without needing power.
  • Automatic roll towel: touch-free dispensing in battery-operated or AC-powered versions. Replacement automatic and manual mechanisms are also available.

Decision 2: Power for Automatic Models

AC-powered dispensers need electrical service at the wall, so they are easiest to plan in new construction or alongside other wired fixtures. Battery-operated units install anywhere a manual dispenser could go, but staff will need to replace batteries. Check the product name for battery, AC, or 110-240V designations.

Decision 3: Mounting Depth

MountingBest fitConsequence
Surface mountedRetrofits and walls without cavity spaceFastest install; greatest projection into the room.
Semi-recessedModerate wall depthReduces projection with a partial wall opening.
Recessed / completely recessedNew construction and renovationsLowest projection; requires a coordinated rough opening.
Counter mounted or vanity-topVanity-focused layoutsKeeps towels at the sink; uses counter or under-counter space.

Decision 4: Collection and Finish

Traditional models are stainless steel workhorses. Simplicity offers stainless steel plus matte black and white phenolic options in select models. Roval provides surface, semi-recessed, and recessed units. Piatto is a completely recessed collection with white or matte black phenolic doors. The Velare BTM System combines a stainless steel cabinet, frameless mirror, and liquid or foam soap dispenser for a behind-the-mirror layout.

Combined Towel, Waste, and Dryer Cabinets

Many dispensers here also include a waste receptacle, and Simplicity and Piatto 3-in-1 units add a high-speed hand dryer. Some Simplicity 3-in-1 cabinets are sold as cabinet only, with the hand dryer not included, so check before ordering. Compare these on the paper towel with waste and combination units pages. To pair a dispenser with separate trash capacity, see ASI waste receptacles, or consider ASI hand dryers where towels are not wanted.

Let ProDryers know your towel format, wall conditions, and finish, and we can help select matching ASI dispensers for each restroom or prepare a project quote.
