ASI 68523A Simplicity™ Collection Automatic Roll Towel Dispenser
This surface-mounted, proximity-sensing dispenser automatically feeds one preset towel length per cycle when hands enter the sensor zone, until the supply is depleted. It accepts a standard 8 in. roll up to 800 ft. long. Three three-position switches let the owner set towel length, delay, and economy. The stub-roll arrangement supports continuous dispensing: a new full roll can start automatically after an existing partial roll is finished, and the partial roll can be transferred to the stub-roll position.
To refill, unlock the door and replace the roll. The locking door prevents unauthorized access and roll removal. The LED indicates sensing and battery condition. The unit is powered by four D-size batteries, not included; the towel supply and batteries are replenished manually.
Size and installation
The Type 304 stainless steel cabinet has a satin finish and measures 15-1/4 in. W x 18-5/16 in. H x 9-13/16 in. D. In drywall construction, provide adequate in-wall reinforcement (by others). For other wall types, select appropriate anchors (by others) for the wall and field conditions. Mounting screws or other suitable fasteners are by others.
For the manufacturer’s stated accessibility installation guidance, place the top edge of the towel opening no higher than 48 in. above finished floor only where clear-floor reach access is provided. Local codes may set a lower limit; the manufacturer gives 40 in. as an example for California. For general utility, the suggested opening height is 49 to 56 in. above finished floor.
