ASI 68523AC-4 Simplicity Automatic Roll Towel Dispenser
The ASI 68523AC-4 is a semi-recessed, AC-powered automatic roll towel dispenser for restrooms where touch-free dispensing and continuous stub-roll feeding are useful. Its Type 304 stainless steel satin-finish cabinet includes a frame and 4-inch collar for semi-recessed mounting.
Specifications and operation
- Dispenses a preset towel length when hands enter the sensor zone; three three-position switches set length, delay, and economy.
- Accepts standard 8-inch-wide towel rolls up to 800 feet long and supports stub-roll dispensing. A full roll can feed automatically after the existing partial roll is used and transferred to the stub-roll position.
- Uses a supplied internal low-voltage adapter on 110–240V AC, 50/60 Hz service; the adapter output is 6VDC at 2A.
- Cabinet dimensions: 17-1/4 in. W × 20-5/16 in. H × 9-13/16 in. D. Minimum rough wall opening: 15-1/2 in. W × 19 in. H × 4-1/8 in. D.
- An LED indicates sensing and operation. The locking door restricts unauthorized access and roll removal; towel supply is replenished manually.
Refill and installation
Unlock the door to replace a roll in an empty or partially empty dispenser. For installation, prepare the minimum rough wall opening and provide suitable wall reinforcement and fasteners. The manufacturer advises installing the unit with the top of the towel opening no higher than 48 in. above finished floor for the specified clear-floor-reach accessibility condition; other reach conditions and local codes may require a different height. For general utility, the manufacturer gives a 49–56 in. range.
