ASI 645210AC Recessed Automatic Roll Towel Dispenser
This proximity-sensing, no-touch dispenser is designed for a wall recess and dispenses an owner-adjustable towel length from 8-inch (203 mm) wide rolls up to 800 feet (244 m) long. It is made of 20-gauge Type 304 stainless steel with a satin finish. Overall dimensions are 16-1/16" W x 28" H x 9-1/2" D (408 x 711 x 241 mm).
Power and operation
The supplied AC adapter accepts 110–240 VAC, 50/60 Hz and provides 6 VDC at 2 A. Three three-position switches let the owner set towel length, delay, and economy. Towels dispense automatically when hands are placed in the sensor zone; an LED indicates sensing and operation. The locking door prevents unauthorized access and roll removal. The unit can be refilled when empty or partially used; a full roll can be loaded while transferring a partial roll to the stub-roll position so feeding can continue.
Recess and mounting requirements
Minimum rough wall opening: 14-3/4" W x 26-11/16" H x 9-1/2" D (375 x 677 x 241 mm). Mount in the wall recess with at least four #10 self-threading screws through the concealed holes; screws are by others. For compliance with 2010 ADA Accessibility Standards, 2015 ABA Standards, and ICC/ANSI A117.1, install so the top of the towel dispenser opening is no higher than 48" (1219 mm) above the finished floor only when clear-floor forward- or side-reach access is provided. Local codes may require a maximum height of 40" (1016 mm), such as California UBC/Title 24. For general utility, the manufacturer recommends locating the top of the opening 49"–56" (1245–1422 mm) above the finished floor.
