ASI 6457 Simplicity Recessed Paper Towel Dispenser
Designed for smaller washrooms with less space and traffic, the ASI 6457 holds 350 C-fold or 475 multi-fold paper towels. The two formats are alternatives, not simultaneous capacities. Towels feed until the supply is depleted, and the dispenser can be reloaded with a partial load in place and continue feeding. A tumbler lock holds the door closed. The recessed unit has a Type 304 stainless steel construction, satin-finish exposed surfaces, seamless construction, crisp lines, and a concealed multi-staked hinge.
Recess and installation planning
The dispenser measures 12-3/4 inches wide by 17-1/4 inches high by 4-1/2 inches deep. It requires a rough wall opening of at least 11-1/4 inches wide by 15-3/4 inches high by 4-1/4 inches deep. Install in the wall recess using #10 self-threading screws through the concealed mounting holes; screws are supplied by others. For general utility, the manufacturer specifies mounting 42 inches from the finished floor to the bottom of the unit. For its stated 2010 ADA installation guidance, position the towel-slot centerline no more than 48 inches above the finished floor.
