ASI Feminine Hygiene Restroom Tampon Dispensers

ASI (American Specialties) feminine hygiene products cover napkin/tampon vendors, combination vendor/disposal units, and sanitary napkin disposals for commercial restrooms. Choose a vendor by capacity, mounting (recessed, semi-recessed, or surface mounted), and operation (25 cent, 50 cent, or no coin/free). Then pick disposals for each stall by partition, recessed, or surface mounting and whether they need a lock.

Choose the vendor operation first

Most ASI vendors here come in three versions identified by the model suffix: -25 (25 cent), -50 (50 cent), and -F (no coin, or free operation). Free-vend units remove coin collection and are a common choice where the owner provides products at no charge. Coin units make sense when the facility wants to recover product cost.

Higher-capacity units mean fewer refills in busy restrooms. The ASI 04684-TM combines a vendor and disposal in one recessed unit, which saves wall space where both are needed near the lavatories. Recessed and semi-recessed units need a rough opening and wall depth, so plan them during framing. Surface-mounted units are the retrofit option but project more into the room, which matters along circulation paths and in accessible clearances. Roval and Simplicity models let you match the vendor to other ASI accessories in those design families.

Sanitary napkin disposals

  • Partition mounted, dual access – ASI 0472 and 0472-1 (with lock), 1.5 gallon, and the Roval ASI 20472, 1.0 gallon, serve two adjoining stalls from one unit.
  • Recessed – ASI 0473 and 0473-1 (with lock), 1.5 gallon, and Roval ASI 20470, 1.0 gallon.
  • Surface mounted – ASI 0473-A and 0473-1A (with lock), ASI 0852 with top cover, ASI 0852-SH with shelf, and ASI 0852-41 in matte black.

Dual-access partition units cut the number of units needed in a stall bank, but they have to be coordinated with the toilet partitions. The 1.5-gallon units hold more between service visits than the 1.0-gallon Roval models. Locking versions help keep liners and contents secured. Check that each disposal sits within reach from the toilet and doesn't conflict with ASI grab bars or toilet tissue dispensers.
