ASI 0473 Recessed Sanitary Napkin Disposal
The ASI 0473 is a recessed, side-wall sanitary napkin disposal with a 1.5-gallon (5.7 L) capacity for dry solids. Users push the door to deposit waste; a stainless steel spring hinge closes it. The door, flanges, waste receptacle, and cabinet are Type 304 stainless steel with a satin finish.
For servicing, remove the waste can and its disposable waxed waste paper bag; the bag is furnished by others. A “Z” clip retainer holds the can in place to help prevent inadvertent dumping, and a safety-edged finger grip provides a service grip.
Installation
The unit measures 13 inches wide by 4-1/4 inches deep by 17-1/4 inches high. The required rough wall opening is 11-1/4 inches wide by 15-3/4 inches high, with a minimum depth of 4 inches; its top is 3/4 inch below the top of the unit. Mount with #10 self-threading screws through the concealed holes; screws are by others.
