ASI 0473-A Surface-Mounted Sanitary Napkin Disposal
The ASI 0473-A is a surface-mounted, end-stall sanitary napkin disposal with a 1.5-gallon capacity for dry/solids waste. Its self-closing door lets users deposit waste by pushing it; a stainless steel spring hinge returns the door to its closed position.
Specifications and operation
- Capacity: 1.5 gal (5.7 L) of dry/solids waste.
- Construction: Door, flanges, waste receptacle, and cabinet are 22-gauge Type 304 stainless steel with a satin finish.
- Dimensions: 11" W x 4" D x 15-1/4" H.
- Servicing: Remove the bottom waste container and invert it over a collection bag. An internal angle captures the container to help prevent inadvertent dumping; the safety-edged finger grip provides a handhold.
- Emptying cycle: Set the waste-removal schedule according to maintenance needs.
Installation
Surface-mount at the end stall using #10 self-threading screws (by others). For maximum usability, the manufacturer recommends positioning the top of the disposal door between 24 and 34 inches above the finished floor as installation guidance for the 2010 ADA Accessibility Standards.
