ASI 0472 Dual-Access Partition-Mounted Napkin Disposal
This unit serves two partition compartments through independently operated, self-closing doors. The removable receptacle holds 1.5 gal (5.7 L) of dry/solids waste and locks to the back of the cabinet with stainless steel clips. Doors use a full-length heavy-duty piano hinge. Doors, flanges, receptacle, and cabinet are 22-gauge Type 304 stainless steel with a satin finish. Overall dimensions are 13" W x 4" D x 17-1/4" H.
Partition fit and installation
Install through a prepared partition cutout measuring 11-3/8" W x 15-5/8" H. Adjustable flanges accommodate partition thicknesses from 1/2" to 3". Eight #10 x 3/4" self-threading screws are supplied, four per side. ASI specifies positioning the top of the disposal door 24" to 33" above the finished floor and the cutout centerline 27" from the rear wall as installation guidance for ADA accessibility.
Servicing
Maintenance needs determine the waste-removal schedule. Remove the bottom container and invert it over a collection bag; an internal angle captures the container to help prevent inadvertent dumping.
