ASI 20470 Roval Recessed Sanitary Napkin Disposal
This recessed disposal has a 1.0-gallon (3.7 L) removable waste container and a self-closing push door. Its one-piece seamless door is 22-gauge type 304 stainless steel with a satin finish; the unit also has a heavy-duty 9/64-inch staked piano hinge and a locked door that prevents unauthorized access or removal.
Users push the door to deposit waste. For service, remove the container and invert it over a collection bag; hemmed container edges and a safety finger grip provide a handhold. Emptying frequency depends on maintenance needs.
Installation and servicing
- Recessed rough wall opening required: 11-3/8 inches wide x 9-5/8 inches high x 4 inches deep minimum. Unit dimensions are 12-13/16 inches wide x 5-7/16 inches deep x 11 inches high.
- Mount with #10 self-threading screws through the concealed mounting holes; screws are by others.
- ASI installation guidance for 2010 ADA Accessibility Standards specifies a maximum 48-inch height to the top of the receptacle door when clear-floor reach access is provided. For general utility, the manufacturer specifies a 44-3/16-inch AFF bottom-edge height.
