ASI Healthcare Accessories

ASI healthcare accessories cover patient-room, lab and clinical support hardware: specimen pass boxes, bedpan and urinal storage, surgical glove dispensers, sharps disposal cabinets, stainless corner guards, bulk dispensers and hands-free door pulls. Most are stainless steel and chosen by mounting method and capacity. Plan the wall construction early, because several items are recessed.

Specimen pass boxes

Pass-through boxes let staff collect specimens from a restroom without entering it. The 0515 includes a turntable, while the 8154 is a recessed pass box. For thicker walls, the 8155 extension sleeve and flange fits the 8154 in 5-1/2" to 9-7/8" walls, and the 8156 comes with the extension sleeve and flange included. Measure the finished wall thickness before ordering.

Bedpan, urinal and washbasin storage

Recessed cabinets (0551, 0558-1) keep items out of sight and off the floor, but they need a wall cavity. Surface-mounted holders and racks (0556, 0557, 0559) install on existing walls.

Glove, sharps and bulk dispensing

  • 0501-1 to 0501-4 surgical glove dispensers hold one to four boxes. Size them to the number of glove sizes you stock at that station.
  • 0548 (recessed) and 0548-9 (surface) sharps disposal cabinets are sold without the container. Confirm container fit with the spec sheet.
  • 0511/0512 small and large bulk dispensers, and the 0502 wipes holder attachment for FS-0300 or DS-0400 stands.

Corner guards and hands-free pulls

The 0533 corner guards are 48" high, in 16 or 18 gauge, with beveled, straight or flat edge legs. Choose adhesive versions for quick installation, or versions with mounting holes for mechanical fastening. The 0503 arm-grip and 0504 foot-grip door pulls let users open doors without touching the handle.
