ASI 0515 Recessed Turntable Specimen Pass Box
The recessed Type 304 stainless steel unit has a satin finish and a turntable cylinder measuring 12 inches in diameter, with a 10-1/2 by 6-inch opening. Stainless steel self-lubricating ball-bearing plates at the top and bottom allow rotation, and positioned bullet catches help prevent uncontrolled movement. The turntable is accessible from both sides.
Place a specimen container inside the cylinder and rotate it manually 180 degrees clockwise or counterclockwise to present it at the rear opening for retrieval by a technician. Unlocking and opening the service door provides access to the unit. The tumbler lock allows removal of the cylinder for sterilizing or autoclaving when necessary.
Recess and installation requirements
The adjustable trim accommodates wall thicknesses from 3-3/8 to 7 inches. Provide a rough wall opening of 13-1/4 inches wide by 14 inches high, with 3-3/8 to 7 inches of wall thickness.
