ASI 8155 Extension Sleeve and Flange for Model 8154 Specimen Pass-Through Cabinet
The ASI 8155 is an extension sleeve and flange for the recessed ASI 8154 Specimen Pass-Through Cabinet, for wall depths from 5-1/2" to 9-7/8". It replaces the cabinet’s standard adjustable flange and extends the profile through the wall while preserving access to the door; it does not prevent the rear cabinet door from opening.
Fit and installation details
- 22-gauge Type 304 stainless steel, alloy 18-8, with satin finish.
- Partition cutout: 11-1/2" W x 11" H, through a wall 5-1/2" to 9-7/8" thick.
- Secure the 8154 cabinet and fixed flange through the wall first using the four mounting holes; #10 self-threading Phillips flat- or oval-head screws are supplied. Position the adjustable sleeve and flange to the wall thickness, then secure it to the opposite side.
- The door within the extension opens 90° and returns by internal spring when released. Interlocked compartment doors prevent the opposite door from opening until the first door is fully closed.
