ASI 0469-A Recessed Paper Towel Dispenser and Waste Receptacle with Mirrored Door
The ASI 0469-A is a recessed combination paper towel dispenser and waste receptacle with a mirrored door. It holds 600 standard C-fold or 800 standard multi-fold towels and has a 12-gallon (46 L) waste capacity.
Capacity and construction
- Holds 600 standard C-fold or 800 standard multi-fold paper towels.
- Waste capacity: 12 gallons (46 L); the waste container is emptied manually as maintenance needs require.
- The towel dispenser, door, frame, waste container, and cabinet are fabricated from Alloy 18-8 Type 304 stainless steel, 22 gauge, with a No. 4 satin finish.
- Exposed surfaces are protected during shipment with a PVC film that is removable after installation.
- The door has a 1/4-inch plate-glass mirror; the manufacturer warrants it against silver spoilage for 15 years.
- Towels self-feed until the supply is depleted. A partial load can be added in place and will continue to feed properly.
Recess and installation requirements
Plan for a minimum rough wall opening of 15-3/4 in. W x 54-1/2 in. H x 4 in. D. The unit mounts in the recess through concealed mounting holes using four No. 10 self-tapping screws supplied with the unit. The manufacturer’s installation guidance for ADAAG places the bottom edge of the mirror’s reflective surface 40 in. above finished floor; verify applicable project requirements.
The door and waste container use tumbler locks keyed alike to other ASI washroom equipment. The towel slot has a fully hemmed, rolled edge for snag-free dispensing and user safety, and the waste container is retained by a tumbler lock.
