ASI 0469-2 Semi-Recessed Paper Towel Dispenser and Waste Receptacle
This combination unit dispenses 600 C-fold or 800 multi-fold towels and includes a 12-gallon (46 L) stainless steel waste receptacle. Towels feed until the supply is depleted, and a partial load can be added in place without interrupting feeding. The receptacle is emptied manually according to maintenance needs. The unit measures 17-1/4" W x 56" H x 4-1/4" D and has a 2" collar for semi-recessing.
Plan for a minimum rough wall opening of 15-3/4" W x 54-1/2" H x 2" D. The cabinet is semi-recessed using four #10 self-threading screws by others through the concealed mounting holes; install the SR collar on the cabinet before setting it into the wall recess. ASI's installation guidance for the 2010 ADA Accessibility Standards specifies mounting with the towel-outlet centerline no higher than 48" above finished floor; this manufacturer guidance is not a blanket compliance determination.
Construction and servicing
The unit is 22-gauge Type 304 stainless steel with a satin finish. Its double-pan door has a no-flex fiberboard filler and is attached with a heavy-duty, multi-staked stainless steel piano hinge. A locking compartment and receptacle retainer help prevent unauthorized access or removal. The towel supply can be topped up in place; remove and empty the waste receptacle manually as needed.
