ASI Custodial Accessories

ASI (American Specialties) custodial accessories help keep janitor closets, utility rooms, and back-of-house areas organized and protected. This category includes mop racks and holders, utility hook strips, shelf and mop strip combinations with drying rods, corner guards, and a few small surface-mounted utility items. Choose by how many tools you need to hang, how much wall length is available, and whether the wall needs impact protection.

Match the rack to the tools in the room

  • Mop racks – ASI 0796-3 and 0796-4 (26" and 36") and ASI 8215-3, 8215-4, and 8215-5 (26", 36", and 46") hold mop and broom handles off the floor. Count the handles stored in each closet and leave room for one more.
  • Utility hook strips – ASI 1307-3 through 1307-6 range from 3 hooks at 26" to 6 hooks at 56" for hoses, dustpans, cords, and other tools that hang by a loop or bracket.
  • Shelf, hook, and mop strips – ASI 1308-3 and 1308-4 combine shelves, hooks, and mop holders in one 34" or 44" unit. ASI 1315-3, 1315-4, and 1315-6 add a drying rod, useful when wet rags and mop heads need a place to air-dry.
  • Single pieces – the ASI 0795 single mop holder and ASI 1306 heavy-duty rag and towel hook fill gaps where a full rack will not fit.

Combination strips reduce the number of separate anchors and wall penetrations, but they need a continuous stretch of wall. Separate racks and hook strips are easier to fit around sinks, shelving, and doors.

Corner guards

ASI 0533 corner guards are 48" high and protect outside wall corners from carts and equipment. Choose adhesive versions (0533-48, 0533-1, 0533-3) when you want to avoid drilling, or versions with mounting holes (0533-2, 0533-4) for mechanical fastening. Leg styles include straight, beveled, and flat edges, and most come in 16 gauge (-1) or 18 gauge (-2); the heavier 16 gauge suits corners that take more frequent hits.

Installation and maintenance

All the racks and strips listed are surface mounted, so plan for solid backing or suitable anchors, especially for loaded mop racks.
