ASI 8215-5 Surface-Mounted Mop Rack, 5 Holders
The ASI 8215-5 is a 46-inch, surface-mounted mop rack with five pivoting, spring-loaded holders featuring serrated rubber cams. Its Type 304 stainless steel construction has a satin finish.
Specifications and operation
- Formed 20-gauge Type 304 stainless steel channel with satin finish.
- Five holders; rack measures 46" (1,168 mm) long and projects 3-1/2" (90 mm) from the wall.
- Surface-mounted; overall dimensions are 46" W x 4-1/2" H x 2-1/2" D.
- Push a mop or broom handle upward into a holder until it seats behind the clamp-plate rib. The spring holds the cam against the handle, and gravity keeps the mop clamped.
Mounting guidance
ASI recommends mounting the bottom of the rack 70" (1,778 mm) above the finished floor for general utility. For its 2010 ADA Accessibility Standards installation guidance, ASI specifies a maximum height of 48" (1,219 mm) AFF to the top of the hook. Mounting screws are by others.
