ASI 9018 Recessed Horizontal Stainless Steel Baby Changing Station
The ASI 9018 is a recessed horizontal baby changing station that requires a rough wall opening at least 35-1/2 in. wide × 24-1/2 in. high × 4 in. deep (902 × 622 × 102 mm). Its door facing and collar are satin-finish 20-gauge Type 304 stainless steel; the changing bed is FDA-approved, fungus- and bacteria-resistant HDPE. ASI states that the unit complies with the 2010 ADA Accessibility Standards.

- Changing and supplies: Includes an adjustable two-part, vinyl-coated safety strap with Sure-Lock latch, one integral bag hook, and a bed-liner dispenser convertible to a multi-fold towel dispenser. The dispenser presents liners or towels and has a lid for sanitary protection and loading wipes or liners; service personnel can replenish supplies as needed.
- Operation: A damped gas spring aids one-handed opening and closing with less than 5 lb (22.2 N) of force, without tight grasping, pinching, or wrist twisting.
Recessed installation and service
Provide the minimum framed rough wall opening listed above and reinforcement adequate to transfer the maximum unit loading. Supplied fasteners are suitable for metal or wood stud walls in dry locations and general hollow-wall construction where adequate substrate strength is obtained; masonry fasteners and anchors are not supplied. Follow the instructions supplied with the unit for the wall condition and mounting method. ASI lists a five-year warranty from the invoice date.
