ASI 64696A Simplicity Automatic Towel Dispenser and Waste Receptacle
This recessed, proximity-sensing unit holds one standard towel roll up to 8 inches in diameter by 8 inches wide and 800 feet long, plus an 8-inch-wide stub roll up to 4 inches in diameter. It changes over to the main roll after the stub roll is used when feed tabs are properly engaged. The waste receptacle holds 9.9 gallons (37.3 L).
Four D-size batteries power the dispenser; batteries are not supplied. When hands enter the sensor zone, the unit feeds the owner-selected towel length, set with length, delay, and paper-saver switches.
Installation and servicing
The unit measures 16-1/16 inches wide by 41-1/4 inches high by 10-1/4 inches deep. Recess installation requires a rough wall opening of 14-3/4 inches wide by 40 inches high by 10 inches deep minimum. #10 self-threading mounting screws are by others. Manufacturer guidance for 2010 ADA accessibility standards calls for the towel opening to be no higher than 48 inches above the finished floor.
Unlock the door to replace an empty or partially used roll. The dispenser can take a full roll while transferring a partial roll to the stub-roll position. Replenish towels, replace batteries, and empty the waste receptacle as maintenance needs require; an LED indicates sensing and battery condition.
