ASI 64696A-41 Piatto Completely Recessed Automatic Roll Paper Towel Dispenser and Waste Receptacle
The ASI 64696A-41 combines a touchless, battery-operated roll towel dispenser and a manually emptied 9.9-gallon waste receptacle in a completely recessed unit. It has a matte black phenolic door, concealed hardware, field-adjustable furniture-style hinges, and an internal spring-loaded latch.
Capacity and operation
- Towel capacity: One standard roll up to 8 in. diameter × 8 in. wide and 800 ft. long, plus one 8-in.-wide stub roll up to 4 in. diameter.
- Roll changeover: The dispenser changes from the stub roll to the main roll when the stub is depleted, provided the feed tabs are properly engaged.
- Dispensing: Hands in the sensor zone activate a towel feed. The owner sets towel length, delay, and paper-saver settings with switches.
- Power and status: Four D-size batteries power the unit and are not supplied. An LED indicates sensing and battery condition.
- Waste capacity: 9.9 gal. (37.3 L); the receptacle is emptied manually.
- Construction: Type 304 stainless steel cabinet and frame with a matte black phenolic door.
Open the door to replace an empty or partially empty towel roll. When reloading with a full roll, transfer the partial roll to the stub-roll position so the full roll can feed after the partial roll is depleted. Towel supply and batteries are replenished manually as needed.
Installation planning
Allow for a finished wall opening of at least 16-1/8 in. W × 41-5/16 in. H × 10-5/8 in. D. Mount the unit with eight #10 × 1-1/2 in. self-threading pan-head screws through the concealed mounting holes; screws are by others. ASI's installation guidance for the 2010 ADA Accessibility Standards is to position the towel dispenser outlet no higher than 48 in. above the finished floor.
