ASI 64696A-00 Piatto Recessed Roll Towel Dispenser and Waste Receptacle
This proximity-sensing unit combines an automatic roll towel dispenser and a 9.9 gal (37.3 L) waste receptacle in a completely recessed cabinet. It holds one standard roll up to 8 in. diameter x 8 in. wide and 800 ft. long, plus one 8 in. wide stub roll up to 4 in. diameter. It changes to the main roll when the stub roll is depleted if the feed tabs are properly engaged. The white phenolic door is White Formica 949; field-adjustable furniture-quality hinges and an internal spring-loaded latch are used, with hardware concealed.
At each activation, the dispenser feeds a towel length set by the owner using the length, delay, and paper-saver switches. Refill through the door when the roll is empty or partially depleted. The unit uses four D-size batteries, which are not supplied; batteries and towels are replenished manually as needed. An LED indicates sensing and battery condition. The waste receptacle is emptied manually.
Recessed installation
Plan for a minimum finished wall opening of 16-1/8 in. W x 41-5/16 in. H x 10-5/8 in. D. Mount the cabinet using eight #10 x 1-1/2 in. self-threading pan-head screws (by others) through the concealed adjustable mounting tabs. For the manufacturer's 2010 ADA Accessibility Standards installation guidance, install so the towel outlet is no higher than 48 in. above finished floor.
