ASI 6467-41 Piatto Completely Recessed Paper Towel Dispenser and Waste Receptacle
The ASI 6467-41 is a manual, completely recessed combination paper towel dispenser and waste receptacle for washrooms where a flush-to-wall installation is needed. Its matte black phenolic door distinguishes this version; the unit dispenses C-fold or multi-fold towels and includes a 4.2-gallon stainless steel waste receptacle.
Capacity, construction and fit
- Dispenses 600 C-fold or 800 multi-fold towels. Users withdraw towels manually, and the dispenser continues feeding when reloaded with a partial supply.
- The dispensing slot has a hemmed, rolled edge for snag-free dispensing and user safety. The 4.2-gallon (16 L) receptacle has a rolled-edge finger hole for servicing. Towel replenishment and waste emptying are manual tasks performed according to maintenance needs.
- Unit dimensions are 13 in. W x 55 in. H x 4-9/16 in. D (330 x 1397 x 116 mm). The minimum finished-wall opening is 13-1/16 in. W x 55-1/16 in. H x 4-11/16 in. D (332 x 1399 x 119 mm); check the opening dimensions and depth before construction.
- The frame and cabinet are 20-gauge Type 304 stainless steel. The black phenolic door uses concealed hardware, field-adjustable furniture-style hinges and an internal spring-loaded latch.
Installation and upkeep
- Install in a wall recess using four #10 x 1-1/2 in. self-threading pan-head screws through the concealed adjustable mounting tabs; screws are by others.
- For general utility, ASI specifies mounting the bottom of the unit 18-3/4 in. (476 mm) above the finished floor. ASI's installation guidance referencing the 2010 ADA Accessibility Standards specifies a towel outlet no more than 48 in. (1219 mm) above the finished floor. This manufacturer guidance alone does not determine installation compliance.
- Unlatch the door to replace towels, whether the dispenser is empty or partially loaded. The unit continues feeding after a partial refill.
