ASI 6462-41 Piatto Completely Recessed Paper Towel Dispenser and Waste Receptacle
The ASI 6462-41 is a manual paper towel dispenser and 9-gallon waste receptacle designed to sit completely recessed in the washroom wall. This version has a matte black phenolic door. Its adjustable adapter supports proper towel feeding, including after a partial reload.
Capacity and dimensions
- Dispenses 600 C-fold, 800 multi-fold, or 1,100 standard single-fold towels with the supplied adapter.
- Includes a 9-gallon (34 L) stainless steel waste receptacle.
- Cabinet dimensions: 17-1/4 inches wide by 54 inches high by 6-9/16 inches deep.
- Required finished wall opening: 17-5/16 inches wide by 54-1/16 inches high by at least 6-11/16 inches deep.
- Type 304 stainless steel frame and black phenolic door (Black Formica 909-58), with field-adjustable furniture-style hinges, concealed hardware, and an internal spring-loaded latch.
Installation and servicing
Mount in the wall recess through the concealed adjustable tabs using four #10 x 1-1/2-inch pan-head screws; screws are by others. ASI's installation instructions specify a towel-outlet centerline no higher than 48 inches above the finished floor for its stated 2010 ADA Accessibility Standards installation guidance. For general utility, ASI specifies 20 inches from the finished floor to the bottom of the unit. See the installation instructions supplied with the unit and confirm project requirements.
Towels are manually withdrawn through the rolled-edge dispensing slot. To refill, unlatch the door and replace towels; the dispenser can be refilled with a partial load in place and will continue to feed. Empty the waste receptacle manually according to maintenance needs. ASI specifies a one-year warranty from the invoice date. Piatto products are made to order and are not returnable.
