ASI 6462 Recessed Paper Towel Dispenser and Waste Receptacle
This manual combination unit dispenses 800 multi-fold or 600 C-fold towels as standard. The included adapter allows capacity for up to 1,100 single-fold towels. The stainless steel waste receptacle holds 9 gallons (34 L). The Type 304 stainless steel unit has a satin finish and a 20-gauge cabinet.
Towels are pulled manually through the dispensing slot. The adjustable adapter maintains proper feed until the towels are depleted, including when the dispenser is reloaded with a partial load. Refill by unlocking the door and replacing towels. The waste receptacle is emptied manually as maintenance needs require. A locking full-face door covers the compartments; the unit has two tumbler locks.
Recess and installation
- Overall dimensions are 17-1/4 inches wide by 54 inches high by 6-9/16 inches deep. The minimum rough wall opening is 15-3/4 inches wide by 52-1/2 inches high by 6 inches deep.
- Mount in a wall recess through the concealed mounting holes using #10 self-threading screws, which are by others. The top of the rough wall opening is 3/4 inch below the top of the unit.
- Manufacturer guidance gives a general-use towel-slot centerline of 49 to 56 inches above the finished floor. The stated barrier-free guidance allows a maximum 48-inch centerline only when clear forward- or side-reach access is provided; local codes may require a lower height, such as the cited 40-inch maximum in California. Check applicable local requirements when locating the unit.
