ASI 6462-2 Semi-Recessed Paper Towel Dispenser and Waste Receptacle
The ASI 6462-2 is a manual Simplicity combination unit for installations requiring a semi-recessed towel dispenser with a 2-inch stainless steel collar and a 9-gallon waste receptacle. It dispenses standard multi-fold or C-fold towels, and the supplied adapter supports up to 1,100 single-fold towels.
Capacity and construction
- Towel capacity: 800 multi-fold or 600 C-fold towels; up to 1,100 single-fold towels with the supplied adapter.
- Waste receptacle capacity: 9 gallons (34 L); empty manually according to maintenance needs.
- Type 304 stainless steel with a satin finish; 18-gauge door and 20-gauge cabinet.
- Towels self-feed until depleted, including after reloading with a partial supply. The locked door prevents unauthorized access to or removal of contents.
Recess and installation
- Overall dimensions: 17-1/4 in. W x 54 in. H x 6-1/2 in. D. Minimum rough wall opening: 15-3/4 in. W x 52-1/2 in. H x 4 in. D.
- The rough-opening top is 3/4 in. below the top of the unit. Install the 2-inch semi-recessing collar on the cabinet before mounting it in the wall recess, following the manufacturer's collar instructions.
- Mount through the concealed holes with #10 self-threading screws, supplied by others.
- Manufacturer guidance specifies a 48-inch maximum towel-slot centerline above finished floor for its stated accessibility installation guidance, and 49 to 56 inches for general utility. Confirm the applicable requirements for the project.
