ASI 3501-48P 48-Inch Peened Straight Grab Bar
This 48-inch grab bar has 1-1/2-inch O.D. type 304 stainless steel tubing and a satin finish. The 3-inch-diameter, 1/8-inch-thick flanges have exposed, drilled and countersunk mounting holes. The -P peened option provides a non-slip surface.
Installation notes
Mounting screws are not included. The manufacturer specifies three #10 self-tapping flat-head or oval-head screws, or another suitable fastener system, at each flange. Provide appropriate anchoring and wall backing for the installation conditions. Manufacturer guidance for installation under the 2010 ADA Accessibility Standards places the top of the bar 33 to 36 inches above the finished floor.
