ASI 3401-48P Straight Grab Bar, 48 Inch
This 48-inch straight grab bar has a 1-1/4-inch O.D. type 304 stainless steel tube and exposed mounting flanges. The 3-inch (76 mm) diameter flanges are 1/8 inch (3 mm) thick stainless steel with a satin finish. The peened option provides the manufacturer-described non-slip surface. Each flange has three countersunk mounting holes.
Installation planning
Mounting screws are not included. The manufacturer specifies three #10 self-tapping flat-head or oval-head screws per flange, or another fastener system suited to the conditions. Use the bar to mark and pre-drill holes; appropriate anchoring and backing must be provided before wall finishing.
