ASI 3501-24 24-Inch Straight Grab Bar
This smooth, exposed-flange grab bar has a 1-1/2-inch (38 mm) outside-diameter Type 304 alloy 18-8 stainless steel tube, 18 gauge (0.048 inch/1.2 mm), and a satin finish. The 3-inch (76 mm) diameter flanges are 1/8 inch (3 mm) thick and continuously concealed-welded to the tubing.
Each flange has three countersunk 9/32-inch (7 mm) holes for 1/4-inch pan-head or No. 10 self-tapping flat-head or oval-head screws. Mounting screws are not provided. Use the bar to mark and pre-drill the holes; provide appropriate anchoring and backing for the wall conditions before finishing the wall. Fasteners or another suitable fastening system must be selected for each flange.
