ASI 3501-12 Straight Grab Bar, 12 inch
This smooth, straight grab bar has 1-1/2" O.D. Type 304 stainless steel tubing, a satin finish, and exposed 3" diameter flanges that are 1/8" thick. The tubing is 18 gauge. Each flange has three drilled and countersunk mounting holes.
Mounting considerations
Mounting screws and anchors are not included. The manufacturer specifies three suitable fasteners per flange; provide appropriate anchoring and wall backing for the site conditions before finishing the wall. ASI's installation guidance for positioning under the 2010 ADA Accessibility Standards places the top of the bar 33" to 36" above the finished floor; this guidance does not by itself establish compliance.
