ASI 3401-18 Straight Grab Bar, 18"
This 18-inch straight grab bar has exposed flanges and a 1-1/4" outside-diameter Type 304 stainless steel tube with satin finish. The tube is 18 gauge; each 3"-diameter flange is 1/8" thick and has three drilled, countersunk mounting holes.
Installation requirements
Mounting screws are not provided. Use suitable fasteners for the wall conditions, and provide appropriate anchoring and backing before the wall is finished, following applicable local codes or project plans. For the manufacturer’s 2010 ADA Accessibility Standards installation guidance, position the top of the grab bar 33" to 36" above the finished floor. This guidance is not a blanket compliance guarantee; wall attachment is critical to the system.
