ASI 2046921A Roval Recessed Automatic Roll Paper Towel Dispenser
The ASI 2046921A is a recessed, battery-powered, proximity-sensing dispenser for standard 8- or 9-in.-wide roll towels up to 800 ft. long, paired with a removable 13.5-gal. waste receptacle. It supports stub-roll feeding and lets the owner set towel length, delay, and paper-saver settings.
Capacity and operation
- Dispenses one preset towel length per sensor activation; settings are controlled by three switches for length, delay, and economy.
- Accepts standard 8- or 9-in.-wide rolls up to 800 ft. (244 m) and has stub-roll capability for continued feeding when a partial roll is transferred to the stub position.
- Removable waste receptacle capacity: 13.5 gal. (51.1 L); internal shelf provides paper towel storage.
- Powered by four D-size batteries, not included. An LED indicates sensing and battery condition.
- Cabinet and frame are 20-gauge Type 304 stainless steel with a satin finish; the locking compartment door and receptacle retainer help prevent unauthorized access and roll removal.
Recess fit and installation
Overall dimensions are 17-3/8 in. W x 56-1/16 in. H x 11-11/16 in. D. The required rough wall opening is at least 16 in. W x 54-3/4 in. H x 10-1/4 in. D. Provide adequate in-wall reinforcement in drywall construction and suitable anchors for other wall conditions; mount through the concealed holes using #10 self-threading screws (by others).
For compliance with ICC/ANSI A-117.1-2003 and the 2010 ADA Accessibility Standards, the manufacturer specifies installing the unit with the top edge of the towel dispenser opening no higher than 48 in. AFF, only when clear floor reach access is provided. The manufacturer notes local codes may require a 40-in. maximum, such as California UBC/Title 24; verify applicable requirements before installation. Refill by unlocking the door and replacing the roll. Replace batteries and empty the receptacle on a cycle determined by maintenance needs.
