ASI 161 30-Inch Rear-Mounted Security Grab Bar
The ASI 161 is a 30-inch, chase-mounted security grab bar for commercial washrooms. It combines type 304 stainless steel with a satin finish, 18-gauge tubing, and a welded 12-gauge closure plate with a built-in drainage system.

Mounting and care
ASI's installation guidance specifies positioning the top of the grab bar 33 to 36 inches above the finished floor for installation intended to comply with the 2010 ADA Accessibility Standards. Secure the unit through the six openings using the supplied washers and nuts or other suitable continuous anchoring/backer material; mounting hardware and wall conditions are critical. Select the threaded-rod length for the wall thickness: less than 6 inches (-LT6), 6 to 8 inches (-68), or over 8 inches (specify thickness, -GT8=XXX).
Clean regularly with a soft cloth and mild detergent, then rinse with a water-moistened cloth and dry. Avoid muriatic acid, caustic or abrasive materials, and harsh detergents. Manufacturer warranty: one year from invoice date.
