ASI 167 42-Inch Front-Mount Security Grab Bar
The ASI 167 is a 42-inch front-mount security grab bar for restroom installations requiring a welded closure plate. It has a satin-finish Type 304 stainless steel tube and a 12-gauge closure plate with a built-in drainage system.

Mounting guidance
ASI suggests six 1/4-20 pin-Torx button-head machine screws of adequate length, installed into suitable wall anchors or other prepared mountings. Fasteners and anchors are by others; select a fastening system suited to the wall conditions, since the wall attachment is critical to the installation's strength. ASI's guidance for the 2010 ADA Accessibility Standards is to install the top of the grab bar 33 to 36 inches above the finished floor; this is manufacturer installation guidance, not a blanket compliance guarantee.
For routine care, clean with a soft cloth and mild detergent, then wipe with water and dry. Avoid muriatic acid, caustic or abrasive materials, and harsh detergents outside the manufacturer's stated pH range.
