ASI 164 Front-Mount Security Grab Bar, 36 Inch
The ASI 164 is a 36-inch front-mount security grab bar with type 304 stainless steel, a satin finish, and a welded security closure plate. The manufacturer identifies the 12-gauge closure plate as an anti-ligature feature and specifies a built-in drainage system.

Installation and care
Surface-mount the bar to a finished wall using six suitably sized fasteners. The manufacturer suggests 1/4-20 Pin Torx® button-head machine screws of adequate length; screws and suitable wall anchors, prepared mountings, or other mounting hardware are by others and must suit wall conditions. Wall attachment and adequately sized fasteners are critical to the grab-bar system's load performance. For the manufacturer's stated 2010 ADA positioning guidance, install with the top of the bar 33 to 36 inches above the finished floor; this positioning guidance is not a blanket compliance guarantee.
Clean regularly with a soft cloth and mild detergent, then wipe with water and dry. Avoid muriatic acid, caustic or abrasive materials, and harsh detergents. Manufacturer warranty: one year from invoice date.
