ASI 169 48-Inch Front-Mounted Security Grab Bar
The ASI 169 is a 48-inch front-mount security grab bar made from Type 304 stainless steel with a satin finish. Its welded closure plate fits closely to the flanges.

- Tubing is 18 gauge; flanges are 1/8 inch (3 mm) thick.

Mounting guidance
ASI recommends surface-mounting the bar with six 1/4-20 pin-Torx button-head machine screws of adequate length. Fasteners, wall anchors, and other suitable mounting hardware are by others; select hardware to suit the wall conditions. Wall attachment is critical to the installed grab bar's strength. For the manufacturer's ADA installation guidance, position the top of the bar 33 to 36 inches (840 to 915 mm) above the finished floor.
