ASI 160 24-Inch Rear-Mounted Security Grab Bar
The ASI 160 is a 24-inch chase-mounted security grab bar. It is made of Type 304 stainless steel with a satin finish, 18-gauge tubing, and a welded closure plate on the bottom with a built-in drainage system.

- Length: 24 inches (610 mm); tubing diameter: 1-1/2 inches (38 mm).
- Type 304 stainless steel with satin-finish exposed surfaces.
- 18-gauge tubing and 1/8-inch (3 mm) thick flanges.
- All-welded construction; the bottom closure plate is 12-gauge (0.105 inch / 2.7 mm) Type 304 stainless steel.

Mounting and care
For installation intended to comply with the 2010 ADA Accessibility Standards, ASI specifies positioning the top of the grab bar 33 to 36 inches above the finished floor. Mount the unit to the finished wall through the six openings and secure it with the supplied washers and nuts, or use other continuous anchoring or backer material suited to local codes and wall conditions. Threaded-rod length depends on wall thickness: less than 6 inches (-LT6), 6 to 8 inches (-68), or over 8 inches (specify thickness, -GT8=XXX).
Clean regularly with a soft cloth and mild detergent, then wipe with a water-moistened cloth and dry. Avoid muriatic acid, caustic or abrasive materials, and harsh detergents. Manufacturer warranty: one year from invoice date.
