ASI 0625-1830 Stainless Steel Channel Frame Mirror with Shelf
The ASI 0625-1830 is an 18 x 30 in surface-mounted plate glass mirror with an integrated stainless steel shelf. Its one-piece Type 304 channel frame has a 1/2 x 1/2 x 1/2 in profile, and the 5-in-deep shelf is welded to the frame.
Specifications
- Mirror size: 18 in wide x 30 in high; standard glazing is 1/4-in plate/float glass.
- Frame: One-piece, roll-formed 20-gauge Type 304 stainless steel with a satin finish. The channel encases the mirror and backing and has tight mitered corners.
- Shelf: 18-gauge satin-finish stainless steel, 5 in deep, with returned and hemmed edges; welded to the face frame.
- Mounting: Surface-mounted on two wall brackets and secured with a theft-resistant locking screw.
- Glass warranty: 15 years against silver spoilage from the invoice date.
Mounting and installation
Install the “H” wall brackets level and plumb using #8 or #10 pan-head screws, which are by others. The locking screw is supplied separately and taped to the mirror back; start it before hanging the mirror on the brackets. ASI's installation guidance for the 2010 ADA Accessibility Standards and ABA Standards 2015 specifies that the bottom edge of the reflecting surface should be no higher than 40 in above the finished floor; confirm placement for the project.
