ASI 0600-3018 Inter-Lok Angle Frame Plate Glass Mirror, 30 in. W x 18 in. H
The surface-mounted ASI 0600-3018 is a 30 in. wide x 18 in. high plate-glass mirror with a satin-finish Type 304 stainless steel angle frame and concealed interlocking mount.
Specifications and construction
- Mirror: 1/4 in. #1 quality plate glass, silver-coated and hermetically sealed with electrolytic copper plating; warranted against silver spoilage for 15 years from the invoice date.
- Frame: roll-formed 18-gauge Type 304 (18-8) stainless steel, 3/4 in. x 5/8 in. Frame corners are heliarc-welded, ground, and polished to a uniform satin finish.
- Mounting: the concealed hanging bracket locks to the top and bottom of the frame with tamper-proof set screws. A one-piece back plate attaches to the frame with a theft-resistant locking device.
Installation
Install the bracket level and plumb using #10 self-threading screws, which are by others. Hang the mirror on the bracket and tighten the locking screws at the top and bottom. ASI's guidance for installations intended to meet the 2010 ADA Accessibility Standards and 2015 ABA Standards says the bottom edge of the reflecting surface should be no higher than 40 in. above the finished floor; confirm applicable project requirements.
