ASI 0487-R Recessed Toilet Tissue and Seat Cover Dispenser with Waste Disposal
The ASI 0487-R is a recessed combination dispenser for two standard toilet tissue rolls and 500 paper seat covers, with a removable 0.45-gal. (1.7 L) waste container. All components are on the opposite side from model 0487-L.
Capacity and construction
- Capacity: two standard toilet tissue rolls, 500 paper seat covers and 0.45 gal. (1.7 L) of waste.
- Type 304 stainless steel with satin finish; the service door is 18 gauge, and the face frame and cabinet are 22 gauge.
- The service door has a full-length 3/16" multi-staked piano hinge and tumbler lock; toilet tissue rollers are vandal resistant.
- Overall dimensions: 28" W x 4-1/4" D x 14-1/4" H. Minimum rough wall opening: 26-1/2" W x 12-7/8" H x 4-1/4" D.
Installation and fit
Mount the unit in a wall recess through the concealed mounting holes using four #10 self-threading screws (by others). The top of the rough wall opening is 1-1/16" below the top of the unit. The manufacturer’s placement guidance locates the toilet tissue dispenser centerline 7"–9" from the front of the toilet, its opening bottom at least 15" above finished floor, and the seat-cover opening centerline no higher than 48" above finished floor. Position the rough opening so the frame top is at least 1-1/2" below the bottom of the specified side-wall grab bar. Confirm site conditions and applicable requirements before installation.
Restocking and waste service
Unlock and open the service door to replenish rolls and seat covers and empty the waste container. Seat covers self-feed until depleted; toilet paper rolls feed freely, and the supply remains visible for low-level warning. Push the self-closing disposal door to deposit waste. The manufacturer specifies a one-year warranty from invoice date.
