ASI 0487-R-9 Toilet Tissue and Seat Cover Dispenser with Waste Disposal
The ASI 0487-R-9 is a surface-mounted combination dispenser for toilet compartments. It holds two standard toilet tissue rolls and 500 paper seat covers, and includes a removable sanitary napkin waste container. This right-side model has components opposite those of the 0487-L-9. A stainless steel collar for surface mounting is included.
Capacity and construction
- Capacity: two standard toilet tissue rolls, 500 paper seat covers, and a 0.45 gal. (1.7 L) waste container.
- Type 304 stainless steel with a satin finish; the service door and panels are 18 gauge, and the face frame and cabinet are 22 gauge.
- The service door uses a full-length 3/16" multi-staked piano hinge and tumbler lock. Tissue rollers are vandal resistant.
- Overall dimensions: 28" W x 4-1/2" D x 14-1/4" H (711 x 114 x 362 mm).
Installation and servicing
Mount to the wall through the concealed mounting holes using four #10 self-threading screws (by others). For placement in accordance with the cited accessibility standards, ASI specifies locating the toilet tissue dispenser centerline 7–9" from the front of the toilet, with the opening bottom at least 15" above finished floor; the seat-cover opening centerline should be no higher than 48" above finished floor. Accessibility depends on proper installation.
The disposal door is self-closing. Seat covers feed until depleted, and the tissue supply remains visible as a low-level warning. To replenish supplies or empty the waste container, unlock and open the service door. The waste container has a safety-edged finger hole for removal.
