ASI 04697-BL Recessed Paper Towel Dispenser and Waste Receptacle
The ASI 04697-BL is a recessed combination dispenser and waste receptacle for restroom installations planned around a wall recess. It holds 600 C-fold, 800 multi-fold, or 1,100 single-fold towels and has an 18-gallon (68 L) waste capacity.
Capacity and construction
- An adjustable guide supports C-fold or multi-fold towels; towels feed until the supply is depleted.
- A partial towel load can be added in place and will continue to feed properly.
- The removable stainless steel waste receptacle is emptied manually according to maintenance needs. The locked compartment prevents unauthorized access.
- Construction is 22-gauge Type 304 stainless steel with a satin finish.
- Overall dimensions are 17-1/4 inches W x 56 inches H x 7-1/4 inches D; the unit projects 4 inches from the wall.
Recess and mounting requirements
Allow a minimum rough wall opening of 15-3/4 inches W x 54-1/2 inches H x 7-1/4 inches D. For general utility installation, ASI specifies positioning the bottom edge 10 to 20-1/2 inches above the finished floor. For installation guidance referencing the 2010 ADA Accessibility Standards, ASI specifies a towel-outlet centerline no higher than 48 inches above the finished floor; this is manufacturer guidance, not a blanket compliance determination. Secure the unit in the wall recess through its concealed mounting holes with four #10 self-threading screws (by others).
