ASI 046924 Recessed Roll Towel Dispenser and Waste Receptacle
This recessed unit mechanically dispenses 8" or 9" wide standard towel rolls up to 800 ft. long and has stub-roll capability. The waste receptacle holds 12 gal. (45.4 L). A lever-operated dispensing mechanism is also supplied.
Towels feed by lever action, and a supplied pin limits the lever stroke to adjust feed length. A full roll can be loaded while a partial roll is in use; the new roll starts automatically when the partial roll is finished. The waste container is emptied manually according to maintenance needs. The locking compartment and receptacle retainer help prevent unauthorized access or removal.
Installation and construction
Provide a rough wall opening at least 15-3/4 in. W x 54-1/2 in. H x 4 in. D. Install in the wall recess with #10 self-threading screws through the concealed mounting holes; screws are by others. ASI's installation guidance for the 2010 ADA Accessibility Standards calls for the dispenser lever to be no more than 48 in. above the finished floor.
The unit is Type 304 stainless steel with a satin finish. Its recessed dimensions are 17-1/4 in. W x 56 in. H x 10-1/4 in. D.
